Indeed, you may reserve an option for a stay or a service for a period of one week. This option allows you to reserve a service or date temporarily without making a final commitment. For more information and to reserve an option which caters to your needs, please contact us.
You can reserve directly online. The available dates are posted in real time and payments on our website are secure.
To reserve a stay in our Résidence, here are a few simple steps :
1. Consult our website and click on Reserve. You will be directed to “Octorate”, our secure reservation site; select the period of you stay and click on Search
2. Select the type of accommodation which suits you.
3. Fill -in the reservation form with your information and preferences.
4. Complete your reservation by making your secure payment.

We can provide you with full information on our available accommodations or propose an option if you need time to think.
Option reservations are cancelled automatically after one week, and are not accepted for reservations made over 30 days in advance.
If you plan to arrive when the reception desk is closed, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. We will provide detailed information for locating the apartment and leave the keys inside.

Rooms must be vacated between 8:30 and 10.30 a.m.. However, if you are planning on leaving before 8:30 or during the night preceding your departure, stop at the reception desk to let us know. We will tell you where to leave the keys to your apartment.
You may pay by check, cash, banking or credit card, ANCV [The French Agency for Holiday Vouchers].
The digital welcome booklet was carefully devised to enable you to access all necessary information with a few clicks, prior to your arrival and throughout your stay. It contains the following practical information:
• Your arrival and your departure (how to come to the Résidence from the train station? How and when to get my keys? What should I do before leaving my accommodations at the end of my stay?)
• Practical information on the Résidence and its equipment (information and schedules for the pool, reception, sauna, shuttle, etc.)
• We have also included the best addresses for exploring the region (restaurants, shops & stores, hiking ideas, open-air market days, visits and leisurely activities). You may also reserve authentic local activities through the Résidence.
As soon as your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive an email with a link to the Residence’s Digital Welcome Booklet. You will also have access to this link upon arriving, directly in your apartment, using a QR code.
There is a kitchen in each unit, equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, a sponge, dish detergent and a dish cloth.
Bedding includes a mattress cover, a pillow, a blanket or comforter depending on the unit, . Bedding (sheets & pillow cases) can be rented when you arrive.
The bathroom is also equipped with a bath mat, a shower and a sink. It is possible to rent towels on request upon your arrival.
For maintenance, cleaning products, including sponge, broom, mop and bucket are provided.

There are two possibilities :
– you bring your own bedding and towels;
– or you can rent them, in advance by email, or when you arrive.
Each unit has a ski rack and there is a common room for ski boots.
Two free parking areas are close-by: one is just below the Residence, and the other one, which is much larger, is located in front of the reception, 50 meters below the Résidence.
Champagny-en-Vanoise has a charging station for 2 vehicles.
Users have two charging possibilities: they can use a multi-service card or scan a QR code displayed on the screen which will allow them to pay for their vehicle using a telephone app.
During the summer, you can enjoy a semi-covered heated pool open from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. A group sauna will be open at the end of the day.
During the winter, the sauna is open for relaxation after a day of skiing.
You can store your bicycle in the ski storage premises, preferably with a bike lock, as a precaution.
Bicycles can be rented in two sports stores in the village. Guides are available to introduce you to the valley’s picturesque cycling routes.
You can request a baby kit prior to your arrival. It includes a folding crib, a highchair and a small bathtub or only the item needed. This request can be made when you make your reservation or by email.
You can reserve ski passes only – but no recreational activities. However, I can assist you in finding activity providers to meet your needs.

ccess to the closed cabin lift is located in the heart of the village, 900 meters from the Résidence. It’s a 10-minute walk on the footpath or a 5-minute drive.
A free municipal shuttle bus will bring you there in 4 minutes. From there, an elevator in the building at village center will take you to the cabin lift on the 4th floor level.
We strongly recommend that you avoid walking to the village with ski shoes and skis. It’s a rather long walk.
Ski lockers are available at the departure and arrival points of the cable cars. They cost €2 per day and can hold up to 4 pairs of skis.

There are no ski stores close to the Résidence, but we have a partnership with “Ski Shop Vanoise”. You will find special offers on-line on the link on our website. This store will keep your equipment overnight free of charge.
There are also wonderful offers throughout the winter season at “Sport 2000”. Specify that Résidence Edelweiss has sent you and they will keep your equipment overnight free of charge.
The municipal shuttle is operated in winter only, at the times indicated in the electronic guide or on the website, in the section entitled “Services”. There is also a small sign at the stop in front of the Résidence reception and ski storage room, showing the shuttle schedule.
The stops of interest to you are “Les Rochers (located in front of the reception and ski storage room), the stop at the center of the village for shops and ski lifts, as well as the “Bois” ski lift for the Nordic Park.

We strongly recommend that you take out the Chapka cancellation insurance we propose on our website. If you wish to take out this insurance, the balance on your stay must be paid in full, along with the cancellation insurance premium. The sums withheld may be reimbursed by the cancellation insurance if you have taken it out at the same time as your reservation.
